Small business loans are available to assist with repairing April storm damage

CLAYTON - low-interest loans to small business administration up to $ 200 000 are now available for owners of Gloucester County to repair damaged or destroyed property resulting from the flooding that took place on April 16.

Homeowners and renters are eligible for loans up to $ 40,000 to repair or replace damaged or destroyed personal property.

"This program will help residents and businesses affected by storms in April to meet their long-term recovery," said Governor Chris Christie."With these loans SBA low-interest, the residents of Gloucester County can finally begin the critical process of repairing and rebuilding their lives to regain a sense of normalcy."

Representatives from SBA customer service will be available for disaster loans Outreach Center in the county office building at 1200 N. Dels Drive there to answer questions about the loan program in disaster, to explain the process and to issue and help individuals complete their applications. The office will be open until July 2 from 9 am to 5 pm weekdays and 9:00 to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Businesses and nonprofit organizations of all sizes can take up to two million dollars to repair or replace damaged or destroyed real estate, machinery and equipment, inventory and other business assets.

Interest rates are as low as 5.12 percent for landlords and tenants, 3.25 percent for non-profits and 4 percent for businesses with terms up to 30 years.
