Fox Continues To Misinform About WI Anti-Union Legislation
Glenn Grothman hosted a Republican senator from Wisconsin, to promote the Wisconsin GOP governor of Scott Walker-union bill and the false impression that legal challenges to the law simply involved contributions state employees to their pension. In fact, the controversy surrounding the bill was its intention to divest the majority of public workers rights to collective bargaining, unions have always agreed to higher pension contributions and health care. Co-host Gretchen Carlson asked if he felt Grothman "justified" by a recent court decision "because you're the one who supported the plan Governor Walker."Grothman said that" there is no question of the decision was fair, "and that" now the law will finally enter into force ... we will finally be able to have state employees pay more for their retirement.
